Our Airframe & Powerplant curriculum prepares students to certify for the Airframe, Powerplant, or Airframe & Powerplant Certificate issued by the FAA. Our curriculum stresses hands on experience and fundamentals. Our students work on actual aircraft and engines and actual aircraft and engine systems and components.
Our Airframe & Powerplant Program consists of an Associate of Science degree specializing in Airframe & Powerplant Technology and 4 Certificates. The first is the Aviation Maintenance Certificate, which is designed to qualify students for the Airframe and Powerplant certificate issued by the Federal Aviation Administration. The second is the Airframe Maintenance Certificate, which is designed to qualify students for the airframe certificate issued by the Federal Aviation Administration. The third is the Powerplant Maintenance Certificate which is designed to qualify students for the powerplant certificate issued by the Federal Aviation Administration. The last is the Avionics Technology Certificate which is designed to provide students with the fundamentals of electronics technology as it applies to avionics.
