Flight Operations & Management Program

Our Flight Operations & Management curriculum prepares students for employment as a Commercial or Private Pilot or in the aviation management field. Our curriculum is FAA approved (under FAA Regulation part 141) and provides ground school starting starting with the basics of flight. Our program also provides Instrument flight training using flight simulators. Our IFR classroom is equipped with two fixed simulators, two FAA approved computer simulators, and one full motion twin business jet simulator. Actual flying time can be arranged through the SBVC Flying Club by association with a Commercial Fixed Base Operator at one of our local airports.

Our Flight Operations & Management Program consists of an Associate of Science degree specializing in Flight Operations and Management and one Certificate. That certificate is the Flight Operations Certificate, which is designed for students who are interested in a career as a Commercial or Private Pilot.
