Men’s Basketball head coach Quincy Brewer was named to his third Foothill Conference Coach of the Year award in four years. An award bestowed upon Brewer after guiding SBVC its third Men's Basketball Foothill Conference title.

Women’s Basketball head coach Susan Crebbin was named to her third Foothill Conference Coach of the Year award. An award bestowed upon Crebbin after guiding SBVC to its fifth straight Women's Basketball Foothill Conference title and its first undefeated Conference record in school history at 14-0. Crebbin coached the most dominate defense in the state, ranking at the top for the entire season and finishing second at the close of the regular season, by only allowing an average of 49 points per game.

San Bernardino Valley College Baseball head coach Bill Mierzwik, now in his 21st season, claimed victory number 499 Tuesday afternoon, getting him closer to the inevitable 500th career victory. SBVC (4-5-1; 1-0) opened up Foothill Conference play at home, by defeating the Mt. San Jacinto Eagles (3-5; 0-1), 6-4.

SBVC (1-10) came into today’s double header versus the Los Angeles Pierce Brahmas (4-7) in need of a victory and were blasted in game one, 15-6, making a contest out of game two, but still falling, 14-10.

SBVC (25-3; 13-0) came out to prove why they are one of the best teams in all of California and won their fifth consecutive Foothill Conference title brutally putting on a display of greatness over the Palm Desert College of the Desert Roadrunners (4-20; 2-11), 83-38.
