SBVC Men’s Basketball sophomore guard Justin Stanley (Oakland J.W. McClymonds) has signed a letter of intent with California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

SBVC Men’s Basketball sophomore forward Aaron Moore (Compton Dominguez) has signed a letter of intent with Portland State University.

SBVC Men’s Basketball sophomore forward Tevin Harris (Dallas, TX Madison) has signed a letter of intent with California State University, Bakersfield.

San Bernardino Valley College Men’s Basketball student athletes received Certificates of Recognition from California State Assemblyman, Mike Morrell.

The #3 SBVC Women’s Basketball (28-4) team traveled to #2 Ventura (31-1) and lost, 64-47 and the #4 SBVC Men’s Basketball (25-6) team traveled to #1 Citrus (28-1) and lost, 94-89.

SBVC (25-5) dominated the first half then held on to get into a Southern California Finals match-up at Glendora Citrus, Saturday, March 3 at 7 p.m., but SBVC shined at the free throw line, knocking down 22 of 28 and the Ventura Pirates (19-12), only shot 33% from the field, as SBVC moved on, 78-71.

SBVC (24-5) proved why they are the number four seed in Southern California with a big second round victory over pesky thirteen seed the Valley Glen Los Angeles Valley Monarchs (16-12), 87-76.

Men’s Basketball head coach Quincy Brewer was named to his third Foothill Conference Coach of the Year award in four years. An award bestowed upon Brewer after guiding SBVC its third Men's Basketball Foothill Conference title.

SBVC (22-5; 11-2) came out of the gates firing, taking a 24 point lead at halftime and wrapping up home regular season play by blasting the Palm Desert College of the Desert Roadrunners (6-17; 4-9) by 37, 112-75.

SBVC (21-5; 10-2) had five players score in double figures as SBVC cruised to a blowout victory over the hapless Barstow Vikings (8-17; 3-9), 97-64.
