SBVC Men's Basketball has sent three starters from last year’s team to NCAA Division One schools, two have signed a letter of intent with Idaho State University and the other has signed with the University of Idaho.

Under the tutelage of fifth-year coach Quincy Brewer, SBVC Men's Basketball ended the regular season winning 12 of 15 games, on their way to another Playoff berth. The run through the playoffs included an opening round upset victory at #7 Riverside City, on their way to a second straight SoCal Finals appearance.

SBVC (22-9) wrapped up their 2012-2013 season in the Southern California Finals, with a trip back to the State Finals on the line, SBVC only shot 7% from beyond 3-point range and the #3 seeded Walnut Mt. San Antonio Mounties are going to Sacramento, 53-60.

SBVC (22-8) ran into a familiar foe in the #15 seeded Mt. San Jacinto Eagles (21-11), but these two teams had never met in the playoffs for a shot at getting back to the Southern California Finals, but #10 seeded SBVC would prevail on some last second heroics, 58-56.

SBVC (21-8) traveled to Riverside for a cross county show down, the #WarOnTheFloor was filled with drama and RCC’s first playoff game in their rehabbed gym, the #10 seeded SBVC handed the #7 seeded Riverside City Tigers (19-9) a SoCal quarter finals loss, 66-56.

SBVC Men's Basketball secured the tenth seed in the Southern California Regional's and will travel to #7 seed Riverside City this Friday, March 1 at 7 p.m.

SBVC (19-8; 10-3) had a mountain to climb versus the #11 team in the state, but the visiting Lancaster Antelope Valley Marauders (18-8; 10-3) could not keep up and SBVC took the victory in their final Foothill Conference matchup, 63-57.

SBVC (17-7;8-2) put together a dominating win against the visiting Victorville Victor Valley Rams (0-19;0-10), 102-46.

SBVC (16-7; 7-2) had a chance to take a significant step towards a back-to-back Foothill Conference championship, but fell short versus the rival Rancho Cucamonga Chaffey Panthers (19-5; 8-1), 78-70.

SBVC (13-6; 4-1) had their work cut out for them against the 13th ranked team in state Mt. San Jacinto Eagles (14-6; 2-3), but pulled out the crucial Conference victory, 68-64.
