If you cannot make it out to this Saturday’s exciting match up, pitting regional and Foothill Conference rivals, the Mt. San Jacinto Eagles at SBVC, but you happen to be within the KVCR-TV broadcast area, link up to the game at any location, whether it’s a restaurant or at a friend’s house.

SBVC (12-6; 3-1) put together a decent effort against the visiting Whittier Rio Hondo Roadrunners (2-13; 1-3), sophomore forward Marcus Bradley (Newport Beach Corona del Mar) had a double-double in the victory, 73-52.

SBVC (10-5; 1-0) never trailed in the first Foothill Conference contest of the New Year, leading by as much as 45 points, as they cruised by the visiting Barstow Vikings (3-10; 0-1), 84-48.

SBVC (9-5) traveled to one of the best, and closest, out of state tournaments around and played well, capping off the trip with a close loss in the Championship Final versus the Salt Lake Community College Bruins, 57-48.

SBVC (7-4) had their work cut out for them and were down one with 38 seconds left to the visiting Woodland Hills Los Angeles Pierce Brahmas (10-5), but freshman guard Gerry Blakes (Inglewood Morningside) nailed a three, and SBVC went on an 8-2 run to close out the victory, 72-67.

SBVC began with a rocky start against Fullerton, and then moved past Citrus by 11, pushed away L.A. Trade Tech by ten, and in the 41st annual Riverside Holiday Tournament final fell to the #1 team in SoCal, Ventura, 72-68.

SBVC (2-1) made it through to the Alvin Hunter Classic championship game, falling to the Walnut Mt. San Antonio Mounties (5-1) for the second straight year in the final, 81-77.

SBVC (2-0) hammered their fellow Foothill Conference foe by shooting 58% from the free throw line in the first half, on their way to a victory over the Palm Desert College of the Desert Roadrunners (2-3), 80-62.

SBVC Men’s Basketball (1-0) riped apart the El Camino College-Compton Tartars (1-1) while hosting the second annual Alvin Hunter Classic Tournament, 83-51.
