SBVC (28-3) played well enough to get into a Southern California Finals match-up at Ventura, Saturday, March 3 at 7 p.m., but turnovers were the order of the day, as both teams combined for 53 turnovers, as SBVC moved on with a victory over their Foothill Conference rivals, the Mt. San Jacinto Eagles, 66-61.

Please note that the #3 seeded SBVC Women's Basketball team will take on #11 Mt. San Jacinto at 5:30p and the # 4 seeded SBVC Men's Basketball team will take on #12 Ventura at 7:30p, Wednesday 2/29.

SBVC (27-3) had the confidence of a Conference champion and the swagger of a number three seed, but early shooting miscues and late perimeter defensive breakdowns almost cost SBVC the game, as SBVC advanced to the Southern California semifinals, defeating the number fourteen seeded Moorpark Raiders, 61-58.

Women’s Basketball head coach Susan Crebbin was named to her third Foothill Conference Coach of the Year award. An award bestowed upon Crebbin after guiding SBVC to its fifth straight Women's Basketball Foothill Conference title and its first undefeated Conference record in school history at 14-0. Crebbin coached the most dominate defense in the state, ranking at the top for the entire season and finishing second at the close of the regular season, by only allowing an average of 49 points per game.

SBVC (25-3; 13-0) came out to prove why they are one of the best teams in all of California and won their fifth consecutive Foothill Conference title brutally putting on a display of greatness over the Palm Desert College of the Desert Roadrunners (4-20; 2-11), 83-38.

SBVC (24-3; 12-0) had two players with double-doubles on the afternoon, but missed free throws early proved to be almost costly late as the Barstow Vikings (18-8; 7-5) lost in overtime, 68-65.

SBVC (22-3; 10-0) had a tough time stopping the Lancaster Antelope Valley Marauders (16-9; 6-4) endless lay-ups at first but were able to turn things around in the second half and score another Foothill Conference victory, 51-45.

SBVC (20-3; 8-0) collected their 14th consecutive Foothill Conference victory with a strong win over the perpetually pesky Mt. San Jacinto Eagles (18-6; 5-4), 66-62.

SBVC (19-3; 7-0) delighted the home crowd and proved why they are the number one defense in the state as they rolled over the number one offense in Southern California, the Rancho Cucamonga Chaffey Panthers (19-4; 7-1), 61-54.
