SBVC Football has a hard time with the Rams, 40-10

SBVC (3-3; 1-2) played a closer game than the score would indicate, only down three going into halftime 13-10, but a pair of touchdowns in the third quarter and another pair in the fourth put the game out of reach at the Victorville Victor Valley Rams (6-0; 3-0), 40-10.

SBVC Football rolls over the Roadrunners, 45-23

SBVC (3-2; 1-1) got back onto the winning track in a big way, shattering a 63 year old record and taking back the Schukart Trophy for the first time since 2006, after knocking off the Palm Desert College of the Desert Roadrunners (2-3; 1-1), 45-23.

SBVC Football falls late to the Eagles, 30-24

SBVC (2-2) took a ten point lead early in the second quarter, but let that slip away just before halftime, then regained the lead late in the fourth quarter and couldn’t hold on as the Mt. San Jacinto Eagles (2-2) took the game late, 30-24.

SBVC Football puts on a show late, but falls to the Vaqueros, 38-28

SBVC (2-1) opened the game with a lengthy drive and a touchdown, but then proceeded to surrender the next 31 points unanswered, only to roar back to within three with less than a minute left, but fell short at the Glendale Vaqueros (3-0), 38-28.

SBVC Football knocks out the Wildcats, 47-24

SBVC (2-0) allowed a big play to open the game, and then proceeded to pummel the visitors with 21 unanswered points, both teams went into halftime with SBVC up 24-14, but the gloves would come off in the second half as SBVC exploded for 16 points in less than two minutes and cruised to victory over the Culver City West Los Angeles Wildcats (0-2), 47-24.

SBVC (1-0) started the regular season with an impressive inaugural victory for head coach John Shipp, getting fantastic production from both sides of the ball and knocking off the Santa Barbara City Vaqueros (0-1), 18-10.

SBVC Football: Two All-Americans & Five All-State honored

SBVC Football had two All-Americans selected and five All-California players selected by the JC Athletic Bureau and the California Community College Football Coaches Association. Named All-Americans were sophomore defensive lineman John Siliga (Redlands H.S.) and freshman kicker Jonathan Gonzales (Apple Valley H.S.).
