SBVC Men’s Soccer defender Mario Villafana (Fontana Summit) and forward Christopher Gonzales (San Bernardino Pacific) have both signed letters of intent with Kansas Wesleyan University.

SBVC Men’s Soccer sophomore midfielder Fredy Diaz (San Bernardino Cajon) has signed a letter of intent with La Sierra University.

Under the tutelage of seventh-year coach Josh Brown, SBVC Men's Soccer ended the regular season having won 8 games, on their way to their first back-to-back ever Playoff berth. Coach Brown had 9 players named to the All-Conference team, finishing the season with an overall record of 8-9-5 and a 3-3-2 Foothill Conference record.

San Bernardino Valley College (8-8-5; 3-3-2) is onto their second straight playoff berth, visiting the Walnut Mt. San Antonio Mounties (18-3-1; 12-3-1) on Saturday, November 17th at 12 p.m. in the first round of the Southern California Regional’s. General admission is $8; faculty, staff, children under 12, adults 60 and older, and students with valid associated student cards are $6.

SBVC (8-8-5) battled through the cold and high winds against the San Diego Knights (9-4-7), 2-0.

SBVC (8-7-5; 3-3-2) put together a draw against the Palm Desert College of the Desert Roadrunners (8-7-5; 2-5-1), 1-1.

SBVC (8-6-3; 3-2-1) had a tall order on hand against their Foothill Conference and regional rivals, the Rancho Cucamonga Chaffey Panthers (11-3-0; 6-0-0), and going into halftime with both teams tied at 0-0 seemed like a move in the right direction, but a quick and questionable red card in the 71st minute lead to a Panthers goal late, giving Chaffey the Conference title, 1-0.

SBVC (7-5-1) went into halftime down 2-1, but came back scoring four goals in the second half to blow away the Oceanside MiraCosta Spartans (3-3-4).

SBVC (6-5-1; 2-1-0) went into half time down 2-1, but came roaring back scoring three goals in the second half to knock off the feisty Whittier Rio Hondo Roadrunners (5-5-2; 0-1-0), 4-2.

SBVC (5-4-1; 1-0-0) held firm in defense of last year’s Foothill Conference title, opening up Conference play versus the Victorville Victor Valley Rams (4-8-0; 0-2-0), with SBVC securing the win, 2-0.
