The 2012 season was filled with transitions as the team was guided, in her first year, by Kim Waleszonia.

SBVC (4-29; 2-11) ended the home slate of their 2012 season and was smashed for 15 runs on 15 hits in five innings by the Palm Desert College of the Desert Roadrunners (35-5; 12-2), 15-4.

SBVC (4-28; 2-10) got down by seven runs early and could not recover as the visiting Rancho Cucamonga Chaffey Panthers (26-7-1; 11-1) punished SBVC for 12 runs on 15 hits in five innings for their tenth straight loss at home, 12-3.

SBVC (3-25; 1-6) was pushed around early, giving up eight runs in the first two innings, but SBVC tied the game at 8-8 in the bottom of the fourth. Unfortunately, they could not stop the Victorville Victor Valley Rams (5-21-1; 2-6) from collecting big innings, as SBVC moves into last place in the Foothill Conference, 25-16.

SBVC (3-22; 1-4) did not get a hit until the bottom of the fourth as they were shut out for the fifth time this season, extending their home losing streak to nine, as the visiting Lancaster Antelope Valley Marauders (11-8; 4-0) tossed a three hitter, shutting out SBVC, 16-0.

SBVC (3-21; 1-3) just cannot seem to turn the corner on this rough season, after giving up 14 runs in the top of the first, none were earned, the visiting Mt. San Jacinto Eagles (8-14; 3-1) rolled, 19-6.

SBVC (3-20; 1-2) took an early lead, but fell behind by a little, then by much more in another home loss, this time at the hands of the Barstow Vikings (2-12; 1-2), 13-9.

SBVC (3-19; 1-1) took an early lead, then the visitors tied the game and blasted through with 12 runs in the top of the fifth, as the Whittier Rio Hondo Roadrunners (8-11; 1-1) cruised, 18-11.

SBVC (2-18) had to reschedule a previously rained out contest versus the Chula Vista Southwestern Jaguars (12-10) for a day that was frigid and windy, as SBVC dropped their last non-Conference game in five innings, 15-4.

SBVC (1-10) came into today’s double header versus the Los Angeles Pierce Brahmas (4-7) in need of a victory and were blasted in game one, 15-6, making a contest out of game two, but still falling, 14-10.
