SBVC hosted their first track and field event in four years and were hampered by only appearing in four of the 17 events, but finished first in the javelin throw, second in the 3000 meter run, and third in the 4 x 400 meter relay.
The Foothill/Pacific Coast Conference Relays were won by defending Conference champions San Diego Mesa with a total of 125 points, 14 points ahead of their nearest competitor, Palomar and 22.5 points ahead of Southwestern, which finished third.
SBVC claimed first and seventh place in the javelin throw. Finishing first and collecting ten points was freshman Shanice Stewart (Rialto Wilmer Amina Carter) who came in with a distance of 33.67 meters, a full 4.45 meters ahead of her nearest competition; in seventh place, freshman Aleeah Madison (Rialto Wilmer Amina Carter) who came in with a distance of 20.31 earning two points.
Freshman Rebekah Frazier (San Bernardino Cajon) finished second in the 3000 meter (2 miles) run with a time of 10:50.71, a full 21 seconds ahead of her nearest opponent, scoring eight points. Freshman Shanice Stewart (Rialto Wilmer Amina Carter) finished fifth in the shot put with a distance of 9.53 meters, scoring four points.
SBVC finished third in the 4 x 400 meter relay with a time of 4:16.01, collecting six points. Running the first 400 meters was freshman Destannie Chenevert (San Jacinto H.S.), running the second leg was freshman Lauren McCollum (San Bernardino Cajon), pacing the third segment was freshman Shanice Stewart (Rialto Wilmer Amina Carter), and anchoring the team was freshman Tyana Smith-Mayfield (Rialto Wilmer Amina Carter).
