SCHOOL-AGE CERTIFICATE

The School-Age certificate is similar to the Associate Teacher certificate but specializes in the care of children from 6-12 years of age and prepares students for working in after-school programs or childcare facilities that serve older children.  The School-Age certificate requires 28 CD units including the CD Work Experience, which requires students to work with school-age children.
