The
California Board of Pharmacy requires the submission of fingerprints for
a background check with the Department of Justice and the F.B.I. along
with the application for registration. A history of arrests for substance
abuse and other convictions may result in the denial of registration.
Some
clinical sites require a background check prior to the placement of students.
