Psychology is both a natural and social science concerned with the study of human behavior, thoughts and emotions. As such, it is a broad discipline which involves both pure science and practical application of science to matters of daily living. Students planning to transfer to a four-year institution and major in psychology should consult with a counselor regarding the transfer process and lower division requirements.
