Women's Soccer:
All-Conference team selected
November 19, 2009
Under the tutelage of sixth-year coach Kristin
Hauge, SBVC Women's Soccer ended the regular season undefeated and
the team won a school record 17 games, on their
way to winning their second straight Foothill
Conference title. Continuing to build on its
reputation as an up-and-coming program in the
region, the 17 wins led to another first, a
ranking of 6th in the state, and 3rd in Southern
California. SBVC Women’s Soccer will face
Bakersfield, at home, this Saturday, November 21
at 2 p.m. in the first round of the state
playoffs. General admission is $8; faculty,
staff, children under 12, adults 60 and older,
and students with valid associated student cards
are $6.

Football: SBVC
knocks Harbor from the ranks of the unbeaten

SBVC honored its
sophomores, who were playing in their last game
with SBVC, showing no fear and no regard for
record, went out on the field and summarily
slugged the L.A. Harbor Seahawks, 29-21.

SBVC faced off against the
eleventh ranked team in Southern California in
the San Diego Mesa Olympians, and while the game
was a stalemate throughout, a penalty kick
decided the game, as SBVC won, 1-0.
