The San Bernardino Valley College District consists of two campuses: San Bernardino Valley College with an enrollment of approximately 12,000 students and Crafton Hills College with an enrollment of approximately 5,000 students.  Both campuses are located about 60 miles east of Los Angeles in or near the City of San Bernardino.  Valley College is located in the urban area of San Bernardino near down town.  Crafton Hills is located on the outskirts of town in the foothills between the cities of Yucaipa and Redlands.  The campuses are approximately 12 miles apart.

San Bernardino Valley College was established in 1926 and is the older of the two campuses.  The campus employs 133 full-time certificated staff and offers over 1,200 course sections each semester.
